Minutes of the Board of the Huddersfield Town Supporters' Association (HTSA) - 05.05.2021

Previous Minutes

The Board unanimously approved the minutes of the previous meeting.


Matters Arising

There were no matters arising from the minutes of the previous meeting.


Sustainable Stadium Campaign

TW provided an update on behalf of the Sustainable Stadium Campaign (SSC) working group:

  • Kirklees Council (KMC) are keen to continue engaging on the SSC with HTSA and other stakeholders. The next meeting between HTSA and KMC will take place at the end of May.

  • The SSC survey results have been collated and publicised. They showed overwhelming support for the campaign's aims among Town fans.

  • TW has sent an e-recipet to AB to claim back the survey monkey costs.

  • The SSC will meet at the end of May to discuss next steps.


Assett of Community Value Status

The Kirklees Stadium is now listed as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) after HTSA submitted it for consideration. The Board expressed their gratitude to TW for his work on the ACV application.


Football Governance Update

AB and AB2 reported on their online meeting, along with the FSA and other fan representatives, with HM Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer to discuss the fallout from the Super League and the future of football governance in England and Wales.


AB agreed to follow up with the club on the stalled MOU between HTSA and the club.


ATT Panel

AB reminded the Board that any member can submit ATT agenda items.
